Central Utah Plane Crash, 2 Likely Dead

Debris found in Sevier County is likely the remains of a small plane that was carrying two people from California to Colorado.

According to the Salt Lake Tribune:

"A Cirrus SR22 single-engine aircraft registered to Springhill Aviation LLC in Danville, Calif., was traveling from northern California to Aspen, Colo. When the plane became overdue, family members started calling for assistance. Radar tracking last placed the plane in Sevier County...

The crash is believed to have happened Saturday night, but personnel from Sevier County Search and Rescue located it Sunday north of Interstate 70 about 27 miles southeast of Salina."
